The family-run brand's largest seasonal collection since 1984 is organized by finishing technique rather than silhouette, and includes five dip-dyed styles that are individually finished, so each piece is truly unique.
Latico Leathers, the family-run full-grain leather handbag maker founded in 1984, today introduced its Fall 2026 collection: 36 new styles organized across seven distinct leather finishes. The first styles are available now at laticoleathers.com, with the remaining groups arriving through September.
The collection is unusual in its structure. Rather than grouping styles by silhouette, Latico organized Fall 2026 around what was done to the leather: milling, dip-dyeing, crackling, suede inlay, stain-washing, diamond stitching, and washing with tumbling. Each technique changes how the leather behaves, not only how it looks.
"Most collections are a set of shapes with color options," said Ben Schreiber of Latico Leathers. "This one started from the leather. We asked what happens if you tumble a hide until it drapes, or dye a finished bag instead of a flat hide, and then build the silhouettes those materials wanted to be. The bags came second."
The largest group is Milled, with nine styles in butter-soft milled cow leather with a tumble-enhanced grain, available in Black, Cafe, Mocha, and Wine. The group ranges from Paz, a two-sided zip card case measuring 3.75 by 4.5 inches with celestial embroidery detail, to Orly, a 16.5-inch shoulder bag that carries three ways including as an oversized clutch.
The Workshop group takes a different approach. Its five styles are dip-dyed after construction rather than before cutting, so dye pools at seams and folds differently on every individual piece. No two bags in the group come out identical, and quantities in any given colorway are limited by the process itself.
Also new: Dolce Crackled, four styles in cow crunch leather worked until the surface fractures into a fine light-catching web, with patterned fabric linings; Suede Selections, seven styles pairing velvety suede with smooth structured leather in lotus-flower, stripe, and patchwork inlay designs; Stain-Washed, five softened styles that arrive already broken in; Diamond Pattern, four silhouettes in Latico's signature diamond stitch and the collection's widest color range, including a new Walnut; and Atelier Washed + Tumbled, which introduces Alta, a lay-flat utility crossbody with multiple exterior pockets designed to be worn hands-free.
Because each finish runs on its own production schedule, the collection reaches the site in waves rather than all at once. The remaining groups arrive through September, with the dip-dyed Workshop styles limited in quantity by the finishing process.
