Go! Glass & Accessories reaches five years of trading at its Okotoks shop on 1 October 2026. The premises opened in 2021 and have served drivers in the town and surrounding Foothills communities since then.
Go! Glass & Accessories provides Auto Glass Repair and Replacement in Okotoks, covering windshields, door glass, quarter glass, rear glass and sunroof glass. The shop opened on 1 October 2021 and has operated with a three-person team since then. It is registered with the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council, the provincial regulator for Alberta's automotive industry, and holds a business licence from the Town of Okotoks.
Most Auto Glass Repair and Replacement jobs begin with an assessment of whether damage can be repaired or whether the glass has to come out, a judgment that turns on the size and depth of the damage, where it sits relative to the driver's field of vision, and how close it is to the edge of the panel. Chinook temperature swings then finish the job, spreading damage that might otherwise have stayed repairable.
Private vehicle owners and local drivers account for a significant share of the work, with damage picked up commuting on Highway 2 and Highway 2A a recurring reason for a visit. "The work is the same work it was in 2021," said Remon Toma, Owner of Go! Glass & Accessories. "Somebody arrives with a chip or a crack, we look at it properly and tell them whether it can be filled or whether the glass has to be replaced, and then we do that and recalibrate the camera if the vehicle has one.”
The technicians at the shop hold AUTEL and Opti-Aim ADAS calibration certifications, as well as a Dow urethane certificate. Go! Glass & Accessories is one of a network of independently owned Canadian dealers trading under a single banner within the Driven Brands™ group, and the Okotoks shop has operated from one premises since it opened.
The warranty position follows how the work is paid for. Go! Glass & Accessories provides a lifetime workmanship warranty on auto glass replacement carried out under an insurance claim, covering installation labour. Customers paying out of pocket, including commercial and fleet customers, receive a one-year warranty on windshield installation, and a 90-day stress-crack warranty applies to all customers.
"A workmanship warranty only means something if the business behind it is still here," Remon Toma said. "If there is a problem with an installation we did, the customer comes back to the same shop, and we stand behind that work. Being in the same town since 2021 is what makes that possible."
